The A3960454 turbocharger is originally made by Holset, and has the effect of a Cummins 180-horsepower engine. The A3960454 is suitable for Dongfeng trucks.
The turbine works in tandem with the turbocharger to drive power through the crankshaft and extract energy from the exhaust stream: this is called a turbo compound system. Both radial and axial power turbines can be used in a variety of heavy duty applications.
